RAISING AWARENESS AROUND MEN’S HEALTH THIS NOVEMBER

South Africa’s largest real estate brand is about to get a lot hairier this November. In an effort to raise funds and awareness around various men’s health issues, including testicular and prostate cancer, RE/MAX of Southern Africa has challenged its network to grow their moustaches (ladies are encouraged to grow their leg hair) over the course of November in support of this cause.

“Last year, our network was able to raise over R25,000 towards various men’s health organisations, including the Movember Foundation, through this campaign. Our winning office, RE/MAX Panache, was able to raise a staggering R11,130 thanks to the growing efforts of their sales associates: Joshua Friedman, Martin Pretorius, John Mamet and Gavin Hutchinson. Following close behind them was the team at RE/MAX Dazzle, who were able to collect R7,000 in donations,” explains Adrian Goslett, Regional Director and CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa.

“This year, we are hoping to achieve similar results by challenging our network to participate in yet another Movember Championship. Thus far, the uptake from our network has been encouraging and we are eager to see how much they are able to raise towards this worthy cause,” says Goslett.

Goslett therefore encourages the public to get behind this cause by donating towards the growing efforts of their local RE/MAX real estate professional this November.

Below is a list of participating offices:
RE/MAX Dolphin Realtors, RE/MAX Border, RE/MAX Helderberg, RE/MAX First, RE/MAX PropT, RE/MAX Gold, RE/MAX Impact, RE/MAX Living, RE/MAX Jacaranda and RE/MAX All Stars.
